Aluminium Düsselldorf  2016, which  ended on 2nd December, proved to be a highly successful event and more than exceeded all expectations in terms of the number of visitors attending, the countries represented and the quality, design, impact and imaginative content of the exhibitors stands.

MQP was delighted, once again, to have its own generously sized, well located, stand to accommodate exhibits of key products and inform and entertain visitors. John Courtenay, the MQP Managing Director, was present throughout the three days of the Show together with several senior MQP technical and management personnel from the UK, Sweden and the USA.

A feature of the stand was a full size Optifilter casthouse filtration unit incorporating a ceramic foam filter, grain refiner and an innovative final stage cyclone. Optifine grain refiner and the Opticast system of grain refinement optimisation were also featured as was the novel automated Batchpilot furnace weighing system.

John Courtenay, the MQP Managing  Director, pronounced himself delighted with the number and quality of visitors to the stand and the level of interest in the MQP products. Initial discussions took place with several significant new potential casthouse customers from around the world, especially from the increasingly influential BRIC counties, and these are likely to lead to new major business in the very near future.

The MQP stand, designed and fitted by Partner, Poznan, Poland, looked very professional and was admirably suited to MQP’s needs. The images below show how the Stand looked on the opening day of the Show.
